Selected work study students will work in the office and during games helping to create and promote the American International College athletics programs and provide accurate statistics and data for the NCAA and fellow Athletic Communications offices. Work students will report directly to the Director of Athletic Communications, Thomas Pool, and Coordinator of Athletic Communications, Seth Dussault.

American International College participates in NCAA Division II athletics and competes in the prestigious Northeast-10 Conference (NE10).


Serving in a variety of capacities including but not limited to: * Inputting/spotting stats during games * Maintaining the Yellow Jackets website * Writing game recaps * Creating content for game programs * Editing video * Setting up and running live stream * Historical collection


Work study students should be extremely self-motivated, organized, passionate, and willing to work hard. Work study students possessing an interest in pursuing a career post-graduation in college athletics or journalism/communications is preferred, but not required. Prospective work study students should have an interest in college athletics.

  • Work study students will be required to work during the week and on some weekends.


Work study students will have tremendous networking opportunities with fellow Division II Sports Information Directors and local media. Work study students will garner real-life experience in the field.
